The Victory Cafe' is the perfect place to meet up with family and friends for some refreshments after you’ve explored the museum.

Our seasonal menu always has a selection of freshly prepared light meals to savour. And why not treat yourself to one of our delicious cakes or muffins with your freshly brewed tea or barista-style coffee.
Group visits
There are special offers and discounts for groups of 10 people or more.

We offer reduced admission for group bookings if you pre-book. Meal deals and discounts on audio guides are also available (subject to availability).
Getting here
By Bus
The Malta at War is well served by buses number 2 & 3 from Valletta main station. There is a bus stop just outside Couvre Porte Gate, Vittoriosa. Please alight there.
By Car
The Malta at War Museum is located on the eastern side of the Grand Harbour at Vittoriosa. It is conveniently housed in Couvre Porte Gate, the original walled entrance into the city. It can be reached via all major roads to Cottonera (Three Cities) onto Vittoriosa (a.k.a. Birgu) following directional signs.
By Car
A harbour ferry operates between Valletta and Vittoriosa every 15 mins leaving from the Lascaris Quay, Valletta. The boat stops 10 mins away from the museum which can easily be reached following the directional signs. The boat departure point in Valletta can be reached by taking the lift from the Upper Barracca Gardens down to Lascaris Quay and then cross the road.
Opening times
We are open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00 until 17.00 except on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
